Good animation but dissapointed.

Hey Skaijo, congrats on the release! The animation itself is a great improvement but overall I can sort of see why this movie is so underrated. Before I start, I can't believe how much you changed the first Pick Up. The thing I loved the most about the original was that it could clearly stand alone, and that the music strung the story together rather than the voice over. I think the voice over made it corny and it was an obvious ploy just to help people understand the story more. I'm not saying that understanding the story is a bad thing, but the original was so much more amazing because it so cleverly and subtly portrayed it.

Ok, so now you probably understand why I didn't like act 2 as much. It didn't hold that same classy feel that you had in the original version of act 1. It was so heavily dialogue-based, that it took away from what was so genuine in the original. And as some other people had mentioned, though layering the audio makes it more realistic, it's also very hard to follow when several characters are speaking at the same time. On the plus side, the characters are so cool. The designs and the animation itself was really top-notch stuff. I thought some of the comedy was funny, and some unnecessary.

Overall it was good. I'm sure that now that you've taken this direction with the animation, I really doubt that you're going to take my advice but that's fine, because I'm sure there's plenty of people out there who loved it. Good luck, keep it up! Oh and btw, one day we shall work on something together since we kind of tossed the idea that we had in mind.

Wow.. Excellent execution.

I'm not gonna lie to you, this is a very cliched theme, but very often do you see it executed this well. The key to this film was the sound. By putting in the right sound effects you could feel the repetition as well as visually see it. I loved how you had a long repetitious scene at the end and quickly switched to the end. It was such good use of contrast that you couldn't help but feel empty and sad for the guy.
However, I really didn't like the end, with the little scene in hell. I thought it would have had more of an impact if you just ended with the message. Also, though I thought your graphics were good and smooth, I sort of felt like it didn't match the movie. Your animations are usually very cute and humorous, but this one was a drastic change. And I immediately made a connection with your style and assumed that this movie would be funny. But it was not, and in a way, I guess I liked the twist. I guess this movie had its funny moments, but the humor, for the most part, was very dark. Overall, good job, I've always loved your work and keep it up.

Wow, give me a break!

Just because he makes amazing games, doesn't necessarily mean he makes good movies. Can people please view the movie before actually voting for it, because honestly this was absolutely terrible. That's the problem with Newgrounds sometimes, the name often means more than the actual animation. For starters, the animation seemed lazy with a lot of reused movieclips and animations. The graphics were terrible. I almost cringed when the guy pressed the button on the remote. Honestly, I think you are one of the greatest when it comes to making games, so I think you should just stick to what you have going. Animation really isn't your thing. I know this sounds really harsh and all, but this is my honest opinion.
